You have come to a decision that feels right for yourself and are at peace. I can think of nothing more important than that. You have incredible courage, for it is the whole weight of a death-denying culture that you have been able to overcome in being true to yourself and your faith.
You sound as if you're exactly where you need to be. Having such an aggressive cancer is not anyone's first choice, but you're coping with grace and integrity and doing the important work that needs to be done. What an achievement! I can't even begin to tell you how much I respect you for that.
